AVB to move for Valencia ace & Ideal £8m signing for Tottenham – Best of THFC
There’s a sense that Andre Villas-Boas is finally starting to settle into life at White Hart Lane. The Portuguese coach has already written his name into Spurs folklore after guiding his side to a historic victory in Manchester three weeks ago. More importantly the clarity over his role at the club can’t be underplayed with chairman Daniel Levy willing to afford him time and patience required to complete his long-term project. Something he didn’t experience during his short reign at the Bridge. Levy clearly appreciates that Villas-Boas can’t instigate significant change overnight and Spurs are evidently reaping the rewards of that extra security granted to AVB. Now that he has the platform to refine his methods and philosophies we might finally see the true picture of the Andre Villas-Boas masterplan.
This week on FFC will Gareth Bale’s diving antics come back to haunt Spurs and which trio are they battling their West London rivals for?

“It is a massive game but, at the club, it has been fantastic. The manager has been great with all the players. What I like about him is that every game has a different approach. You know how exactly we’ve got to play, when we’ve got the ball and not got the ball. Has he been good for me? He has been good for everyone. If you speak to any of the boys, they will say he has been fantastic. Every player knows their jobs and he has been brilliant.” Jermaine Defoe hails the impact made by Andre Villas-Boas at Tottenham
